Take on 2016 Like a PRO

Calling all CPA’s, Enrolled Agents, and Accountants!

Before we get too far into 2016, we have to take a moment to recap all the amazing things that happened in the last 365 days. After all, it’s been a really fantastic year here at TSheets, especially for our PRO channel. First and foremost, we were able to triple enrollment in our TSheets PRO Program--and we ended the year with more than 4,000 actively enrolled and engaged PROs. Crossing the 4k milestone was incredibly exciting for our team, and we owe that success to YOU. Without you, none of this (as in all of our wins, celebrations and achievements) would have been possible.

With that, here’s a quick recap of the major milestones we hit and memories we made in 2015:

It was a year on the road (or, more accurately, in the air) for the PRO Business Development team. The team (which is now officially a team, and not just me) doubled in November when we brought Jessica on to help me conquer the accounting world, one live event at a time. Between the two of us, our PRO team had a presence at over 40 live events across the United States and Canada in 2015 alone! It was an insane amount of traveling, but we had a blast meeting so many of you face to face--and I speak for both of us when I say that it’s our very favorite part of the job!1The PRO Sales and Success division grew by one in July with the addition of Jenn D. As many of you can attest to, Jenn is pretty freakin’ fantastic! She has an impressive talent for gift-giving, making everyone around her laugh, and negotiation (which is great news for you! She’s here to aid you in having referral conversations with your clients). Jenn, along with her newest team member, Dan, are your secret weapons when it comes to successfully referring TSheets PROs! Of course, I can’t forget our amazing PRO Support team, which now consists of the dynamic duo you know and love, Danny and Debbie! Their entire purpose in life (uh, while they’re within these walls, at least) is to turn your frown upside down when QuickBooks won’t sync, you need a product demo for a client, or you encounter any other TSheets related issues. They’re like sunshine on a cloudy day, and if you think you couldn’t live without them, imagine how we feel! There’s no doubt, it was a big year for us, but it was a big year for you guys too!

In July, we had the privilege of hosting Seth David (our 2014 top referring PRO) right here in Boise at TSheets HQ. We had a full week of strategy planning, relationship building and important conversations (and cheeseburgers, lots and lots of cheeseburgers). The one thing that didn’t happen? A first-class ticket on Rissell Air (maybe this year … but don’t tell Matt I said that)!unnamed (1)Which brings us to the highlight of the year: QuickBooks Connect. With 5,000+ accounting professionals all in one place, and OPRAH on the stage, we thought we had died and gone to heaven! There has never been a better time to be a TSheets PRO (or to work on the TSheets PRO team!) and I consider myself truly blessed to have had the opportunity to meet, spend time with, and dance with so many of you! What began as partnerships have blossomed into true friendships, and for that I am truly grateful. Speaking of dancing, the TSheets PRO team was elated to break our already outrageously high party attendance record at our Party Hearty event during QuickBooks Connect. We were nearly 250 people over our estimated attendance (I won’t even tell you what that did to our drink budget), but Matt and the crew were thrilled to host more than 650 PROs at the M Fusion Lounge in San Jose.2Our co-sponsors, Avalara, Receipt Bank, Expensify, and Insperity brought down the house and kept the drinks flowing all night long. If you’re currently kicking yourself for missing out on this awesome party, consider this your personal invitation to help us hit 800+ attendees at next year’s event. Go big or go home, am I right?! Finally, we were honored to crown Penny Crull as our 2016 10k Challenge winner. Penny was absolutely on fire this year! She referred nearly 180 clients to TSheets within a matter of months and walked away with the grand prize because of it. I could not be more proud to showcase her as our 10k Challenge Champion for the next 365 days--I’ll be sad to see her dethroned come November … but excited to see who steps up to the plate.unnamed (2)

It’s been a big year all around … but 2016 is bound to be even bigger!

Oh yeah, it’s possible.2015 was a banner year for TSheets, we rolled out our TSheets PRO certification (which now includes a self study course) and we certified over 450 PROs. We announced our Series A funding (a process during which our PRO family was incredibly supportive and encouraging) and grew our team by nearly 100 percent!3

How could we possibly top all that in 2016?

We’ve got plans. Big plans.Stay tuned for advanced developments to our software (things like scheduling, new integrations, and account access), and improvements to the PRO Program. We’re about to make referring even easier--which increases your earning potential.Psst! And, of course, most importantly: New tshirts. (Let’s be honest, it’s all about the tshirts.) Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting us in battle as we wage the war against outdated paper timesheets. In 2016, with your help, we hope to spread the word about automated time tracking to more than 10,000 accountant referred businesses on a global scale. Cheers to 2016!kellyKelly BistriceanuAccountant Program Manager888.836.2720prosupport@tsheets.com4
